PILLCHECK — PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: June 1, 2026 PillCheck ("the App", "we", "us") helps caregivers set up and monitor medication reminders for a parent or loved one. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The App is operated by Ibrahim Buyukgebiz. Questions: ibgebiz.code@gmail.com 1. WHO USES PILLCHECK - Caregivers create an account (via Google or Apple) and set up medications and schedules. - Parents / seniors do not create an account. They join using a one-time 6-character pairing code and confirm their doses on a simplified screen. 2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT - Account information. When a caregiver signs in with Google or Apple, we receive a name and email address used to identify the account. - Health-related information. Medication names, doses, purposes, scheduled times, and dose history (taken, missed, and confirmation times) that caregivers enter to operate reminders. - Device & notification data. A push notification token so we can deliver medication reminders and missed-dose alerts. - Diagnostics. Crash reports and basic error/diagnostic events (including an anonymous user identifier) to keep the App reliable. - Subscription data. Purchase and subscription status processed by our payments provider. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. 3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION - To provide the core service: scheduling and delivering medication reminders and showing dose history to caregivers. - To send missed-dose alerts to the caregiver. - To operate subscriptions and free trials. - To diagnose crashes and improve reliability and performance. - To protect against abuse (for example, rate-limiting pairing attempts). We do NOT sell your personal or health data, and we do not use it for advertising. 4. SERVICE PROVIDERS WE SHARE DATA WITH We share data only with providers that help us run the App, under their respective terms: - Supabase — database, authentication, and backend hosting. - Apple & Google — sign-in and (for Apple) subscription billing. - RevenueCat — subscription management. - Expo — push notification delivery. - Sentry — crash and error diagnostics. 5. DATA RETENTION We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When a caregiver deletes their account from within the App (Profile > Delete account), we permanently delete the account and all associated data — including the managed parents' medications, schedules, and dose history — without undue delay. 6. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES - Access & deletion. You can delete your account and all related data at any time from within the App. - Notifications.
